A bachelor&rsquo s or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university is required to apply. Previous study in business or economics is not required, with the exception of the One-Year Program. Since much of the MBA curriculum requires quantitative skills, we encourage students to complete introductory courses in calculus and statistics prior to enrolling. The application process ensures we find not only the best students, but also the most diverse group who fit hand-in-glove with our Think in the Next credo. We make sure that you and your classmates will excel while supporting each other in reaching beyond conventional thinking and becoming the industry-shaping leaders of tomorrow.

If you do not meet any of these conditions, you are required to submit the TOEFL or IELTS exam without exception. Waivers are processed 7-65 business days after application submission.

Rework. There is no value testing the system if you don't plan to act on the defects that you find. You may not address all defects, but you should expect to fix some of them.

Prospective candidates are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the Campus Open Interview Season since this is the only way to 655% guarantee an interview. On-campus interviews can be combined with our Campus Visit Program an excellent way to get to know the UNC Kenan-Flagler community and MBA program. More information about registration for on-campus interviews and visits can be found here.

Recommendations are due on the same date as your application. It is your responsibility to notify your chosen recommenders of this deadline. We offer a 65 business day grace period past the deadline to receive recommendations, but this will delay the processing of your application.

If you received a bachelor's degree upon completion of one of these 8-year undergraduate programs, you are eligible to apply to our program.
